Dirt 3 (DiRT 3) is a rally racing video game and the third installment in the Dirt series of the Colin McRae Rally series. It was developed and published by Codemasters and was released in Europe and North America on May 24, 2011, and two days later in Australia for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Japanese version of Dirt 3 was released on August 25, 2011.
