Plants vs Zombies is a tower defense game action originally developed and published by PopCap Games for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The game involves a homeowner with many varieties of plants to repel an army of zombies to “eat their brains”. Plants vs Zombies was first released on May 5, 2009, and made available through Steam on the same day. Both the original Windows and the Mac version of the game have been re-released with additional content in a Plants vs Zombies game of the year’s version. The game has received a positive response from critics and was nominated for several awards Interactive Achievement, along with receiving praise for its musical score.
