Need for Speed: Shift (other term NFS: Shift) is a driving game published on September 15, 2009 and developed by Slightly Mad Studios, focuses mainly on legal racing circuits of real life racing around the world and maintain its mix of exotic import, and muscle cars.

Need for Speed: Shift has more than 60 vehicles, divided into 4 levels. It has 19 tracks, some of which are real and some licensed songs that are fiction. In addition to the improved driving simulation and difficulty of adaptation, the game reintroduces the cockpit view, the first in the series since Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. NFS: Shift focuses on simulation racing rather than arcade racing of previous titles. The car featured on the cover is a E92 BMW M3 GT2.

Need for Speed: Shift received better reviews than the last 3 games of the series, Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover. He earned a rating of 9.0 from IGN and the Official Xbox Magazine, earned a 7.0 while Eurogamer and Gamespot, which were much less impressed. Reviewers generally praised the car seen in the game and sense of speed, while most of the criticism revolved around the issue of drift NFS: Shift.
